Progress at The Hub and a Request for Support

As anyone who has built a business from the ground up can tell you, there's always a never-ending list of things to be done! I'm happy to report that with the help of friends, we finally got a fence up at The Hub. We are hopeful the fence will be useful to keep people out in the winter while still allowing access during regular business hours. We took what was once an unusable dirt lot and transformed it!

My vision with The Hub was to bring people together with good food and good times and to provide a community gathering place unlike anything else in Elko County. I'm thankful for all those who have supported us until this point and ask for your continued support as we move forward with what looks like some upcoming opposition from the County Commission and possibly the City of Elko. For those who didn't watch the County Commission meeting, you can see it here. The section about food trucks starts at about minute 17. It's in response to my liquor license application, which was tabled. The next meeting is Oct 2 at 1:30 pm. As a legally-operating business with a positive relationship with other businesses including restaurants, it's discouraging to see my business misrepresented and to consider potential changes that might be made due to one person's "concerns." https://elkocounty.granicus.com/player/clip/2771
